Purpose of this policy
The purpose of this policy is to outline how we collect and use personal data about you in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection Law and other laws, regulations and secondary legislation, as amended or updated from time to time, in Guernsey.

Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you. We will provide you with this information within one month of receiving your request and verifying your identity. You also have a right to contact us if you believe your personal information is incorrect or if you believe we are no longer entitled to use your personal data. We will endeavour not to keep your personal data for longer than we have to for us to fulfil our obligations to you. When assessing what retention period is appropriate for your personal data, we will take into consideration the requirements of our business and the services provided, the purposes for which we originally collected the data, the lawful grounds on which we based our processing, any statutory legal obligations, the categories of your personal data, the types of personal data we have collected and if the purpose of the processing could reasonably be fulfilled by other means.
We may from time to time share our office space with third parties but remain committed to keeping your data secure at all times. In addition, we would in such cases enter into a strict confidentiality agreement with the third party.
